christian louboutin lace pumps heels wedding shoes vintage

This vintage bride went one step further, adding a modern twist (with an old-fashioned vibe): a gorgeous pair of platform delicate lace Christian Louboutin pumps.  Totally breathtaking.

The Floral Patterns Have It

I’ve had this gorgeous London wedding saved in my bookmarks for months now, and with Summer in full swing, I thought, what better time to feature a wedding that utilizes a whole scheme of floral prints and patterns?

The bridesmaids’ dresses are all mis-matched floral patterns (check out my post on pairing floral prints), and even the bride wore a stunning white wedding dress with a hint of bold floral pattern and lace applique.

Card Cabinets Filled With Flowers

I spotted this incredible floral arrangement while scrolling through the images of this simple (and lovely) rustic pink garden wedding … on went the light bulb, and I thought, “hey, I can do that!”

How stunning is this antique library card cabinet filled with white bottles and the prettiest pink flowers?  And this lovely set-up is actually fairly easy to put together, DIY style!

The tricky part is finding a cool old antique card cabinet.  The vases are simply glass bottles – think beer, cider, root beer (yeah, reusable and eco-friendly!) – sprayed with my favorite DIY weapon – a can of white spray paint!  (Remember this post on DIY Gold Mason Jars?)
