These shoes are just so lovely … really, the whole bohemian Botticelli-esque wedding shoot is lovely … but the shoes = so unique. So far, these Free People heels are as close a match as I can find to the lovely nude and black strappy heel seen on this bride. Any thoughts on where these beautiful shoes could be from?

Winter White Holiday Decor

I love a fresh burst of winter white in weddings. There are plenty of beautifully-themed Christmas weddings, but a winter wedding with subtle nods to the Holiday season are some of my favorites. White frosted pine, stars, metallic Holiday touches – it all fits the theme perfectly, and makes for a festive celebration.

White Lace Bridesmaids Dresses

I love this shot of bridesmaids … all dressed in white. But, not to be confused with the bride herself, these bridesmaids are all in different styles, a short hem, pretty woven shawls, and lots of lace. If bridesmaids were to wear white, the bride would want to differentiate her dress enough, to stand out – think long white dress, sans lace, etc.

So tell me, would you want your bridesmaids to wear white on your wedding day? Are these bridesmaids dresses different enough to get a pass?

Love in black + white …

I’ve always been drawn to a classic black and white image, plus I adore a good vintage. glove.

Oh right, babbling about fashion again. Back to the pictures … black and white photographs add a level of shadowing and depth that a photo filled with light and color (though equally stunning) may not capture. A black and white photo is dramatic and sets a stunning stage on your wall years down the line. Ask your wedding photography to capture several black and white images on the big day so that you have several options once the pictures are available for printing, etc.
